Who We Are

Femme Solidarity was founded in 2024 by Sarah Chong, a passionate feminist and advocate for social justice. Sarah envisioned a space where women and gender-diverse individuals, especially those from marginalised communities, could come together to create real change. With her background in preventing violence against women, Sarah is dedicated to making sure every voice is heard and valued.

Echoing Sarah’s vision, Femme Solidarity is all about championing women’s and gender-diverse people’s rights and building an inclusive environment where everyone can thrive. We believe that lasting change happens when we work together, listening to and co-creating solutions with the people who are most affected.

Guided by our core belief, “Not for us without us,” we ensure that the voices of women and communities are at the heart of everything we do. Our mission is to amplify the stories of migrant and refugee women, First Nations women, and gender-diverse people, bringing their experiences from the margins into the mainstream. Through advocacy, peace education, and leadership development, we’re working toward a future where all people can live free from violence, discrimination, and oppression.

Our core values — equity, women’s rights, empowerment, peace, and community-driven change — are the foundation of everything we do. We’re committed to creating meaningful, lasting change for people everywhere.
